  • Legal aspects of SARS-CoV-2 genome data processing and sharing across Europe (March 30th 2022 - h. 10:00 AM-12:00 PM (CEST) - Online, Registration required)
    The main goal of this webinar is to address the legal aspects involved in the mobilization of SARS-CoV-2 genomic data in Europe. The seminar is specifically designed for organizations and people responsible for data brokering across healthcare systems, research infrastructures and publicly accessible data sharing platforms.
    The primary focus of the seminar is to illustrate a collection of examples that highlight how legal aspects come into play when genetic, personal and phenotypic data are processed and shared in different Countries.

  • COVID-19 Data & Code Reuse Competition (May 15th-December 5th 2021 - Online)
    The COVID-19 Data Portal Sweden launched a competition specifically for small research projects that reuse publicly available data and code. Winning projects will be awarded support from the SciLifeLab Data Centre** **to promote the projects and/or enable follow-up work.
    The main goal of the competition is to promote public sharing of data and code (according to the Open Access and Open Science guidelines) for fighting COVID-19 and, more in general, for scientific research.

  • Metabolomics and Integrative omics: from data production to analysis (April 28th-29th 2022 - At C.N.R Research Area of Bari, Registration required)
    The goal of this seminar is to introduce metabolomics (the science of measuring the complement of metabolites in living organisms and the environment) and the current limitations and challenges in the analysis of metabolites in a biological system.
    Research scientists who are using or planning to use metabolomics analysis in their projects are welcome to attend. Basic knowledge of biology and/or biochemistry is required.
    Candidates can register by filling this form until March 27th 2022.
